Columbus Was a Jew? After more than two decades of research, Scientists have confirmed that Christopher Columbus Was a Sephardic Jew from (Spain?) Western Europe. (Sephardic is derived from Sefarad, meaning 'Spain' in Hebrew.) Oh dear, I hear it coming now from both sides-- Of course the expressed pride of the Jewish people, That such an important historical person was 'one of them', And conversely, that it had to be a Jew, Who caused the opening of the New World, With its consequential destruction Of those two continents' native peoples.
